The Department of Computer Science & IT was established in the academic session 2005–06. Initially, the department introduced Computer Science as an elective subject in B.Sc. and Computer Application (CSCA) at the Higher Secondary (+2) level. Over time, the department has expanded significantly into one of the most dynamic and career-oriented departments of the college.
